A user is an individual who accesses the service through an account. The service is designed for personal use.

Opening an account requires a valid email address. You may also sign in with your Google or GitHub account.

You are responsible for the accuracy of the details you give us and for the security of your account. Tell us if you notice your account being used without your permission.

You must be 18 or older to open an account.

Sokratic is a thinking tool: it breaks what you write into themes, connects them into a personal map, and asks you questions about it.

There is a free tier and two paid tiers, Plus and Pro. What separates them is published, and kept current, on the pricing page.

The companion produces text generated by an AI language model. What it produces may be wrong, incomplete or misleading, and its accuracy is not guaranteed.

The companion is not a professional. Nothing it produces is medical, psychological, legal or financial advice, and none of it substitutes for consulting a qualified professional.

If you have concerns about your mental health, please speak to a healthcare professional. In an emergency, call your local emergency services.

Paid plans are sold as monthly subscriptions and charged through Polar, which acts as the seller of record and issues your invoice.

Your subscription renews automatically at the end of each period unless you cancel it. Published prices include tax unless stated otherwise.

We may change our prices. Where a change affects an existing subscription we will email you a reasonable time before it takes effect, and you may cancel if you do not accept it.

Refunds and withdrawal rights are set out separately in the Refund Policy.

The notes you write, the themes built from them and the resources you upload belong to you. We do not take ownership of them.

To run the service we need a limited licence to store, display, back up and process your content — including processing it so the companion can work. That licence is used for nothing but delivering the service to you.

We do not use your content for marketing and we do not sell it to third parties. How it is processed is set out in the Privacy Policy.

You may not use the service for unlawful purposes, in ways that infringe others' rights, or to generate content that harms other people.

Reverse engineering the service, overloading it with automated tools, circumventing security measures or working around usage limits is prohibited.

If we find use that breaks these rules we may suspend or close your account.

We are still building the service; features may change, be added or be removed over time.

The service may be temporarily unavailable because of maintenance, faults or third-party outages beyond our control. We do not promise uninterrupted access.

To the extent the law allows, the service is provided "as is". We make no warranty as to the accuracy of the companion's output or its fitness for a particular purpose.

Our liability is in every case limited to the subscription fees you paid us in the twelve months before the claim arose.

This limitation does not affect rights you have under consumer law that cannot be limited by contract.

You may close your account at any time. After you ask us to, your data is deleted within the periods set out in the Privacy Policy.

We may close your account if you seriously breach these terms; if we do, we refund the unused remainder of any period you have paid for.

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Türkiye, and [COMPETENT COURTS AND ENFORCEMENT OFFICES] have jurisdiction over disputes. If you are a consumer, your right to apply to consumer arbitration committees and consumer courts is reserved.
